    About this opportunity:Fife Steel Basketball Club (FSBC) are looking for enthusiastic Assistant Basketball Coaches to help with the delivery with the sport of basketball for players during practice and games. The responsibilities of an Assistant Basketball Coach is to support and deliver fundamental basketball skills to players at a high level, including supporting team sportsmanship, encouraging players enjoyment in the sport, and providing mentorship.
    To be successful as an Assistant Basketball Coach, you should have an awareness of basketball and its rules and have good communication skills. Ideally an Assistant Basketball Coach should be in good physical condition and have good leadership skills.

    Training provided:The person will be given an initial induction to the club, then asked to shadow existing Coaches. PVG and valid First Aid Certificate required.

    Yes - Travel expenses will be discussed with volunteers on an individual basis.

    Experience required:Understanding of the game and rules. Previous experience with basketball. Good physical condition. Be able to motivate players. Good leadership skills
